General Information
The Aberdeen Consulate is manned for 5 half days each week. Note that during Scottish, English and Dutch public holidays it is closed.
During 2010 it is possible that extended hours will be operated, please check before booking your appointment.
The International School, North Deeside Road, Aberdeen runs Dutch education for primary and secondary pupils.
The Rijnlands Lyceeum operates within Cults Aacademy and is available for Dutch pupils who wish to continue with Dutch secondary education. The Consulate has details of how to contact these institutions.
The Dutch Society is open to all members of the Dutch or local community who wish to participate in Dutch events. The Dutch Society, supported by the Consulate, holds a Queen's night reception each year. They also hold a number of other events, including welcoming Sinterklaas to Aberdeen, on his journey from Spain. Anyone who wishes to join should contact the Dutch Society through nvaberdeen@hotmail.com.
